1998 Environmental Accounting Workshops - $30,000

These workshops, sponsored by Ministry for the Environment's Sustainable Management Fund, were held at eight locations throughout New Zealand. The workshops attracted over 150 people, including people from central government, local government, iwi, private business and universities.

The workshops introduced Environmental Accounting concepts, international trends, approaches, and pilot studies carried out in New Zealand. The workshops were co-presented by Dr Murray Patterson (Massey University) and Garry McDonald (McDermott Fairgray Group Ltd).
