2002 Composite Indices for Measuring Sustainability in the Wellington Regions - $6,000

This project investigated the feasibility of establishing a composite index for sustainable development progress for the Wellington region. These indices needed to cover the economic, social and environmental aspects of development in one index. Specific recommendations were made for establishing a number of indices for Wellington. This project was sponsored by the Wellington Regional Council.
