  • Market Economics Limited - Market Economics plays an integral role in many NZCEE projects.
  • Australia New Zealand Society for Ecological Economics - ANZSEE encourages research on the integration of economics, ecology and related disciplines. Through education, policy analysis, communication, and other appropriate means, it also endeavours to promote general understanding of the results of research. Vicky Forgie and Oscar Montes de Oca, from NZCEE, are members of the ANZSEE Executive Committee. More information can be found in the ANZSEE newsletter.
  • Wakadigital - NZCEE works with Wakadigital in our Manaaki Taha Moana programme.
  • The International Society for Ecological Economics (ISEE) - ISEE is a not-for-profit, member-governed, organization dedicated to advancing understanding of the relationships among ecological, social, and economic systems for the mutual well-being of nature and people.
  • Massey University - Resource and Environmental Planning Programme.
  • Australian Commonwealth Scientific and Research Organisation - Relationships with researchers in the Land and Water, Sustainable Ecosystems, and Integration Science areas of CSIRO enable research collaboration in the areas of sustainability, natural resource management, social and economic impacts, and analysis of complex adaptive systems.
  • Ministry for the Environment - The report by Dr McDonald and Prof Patterson, Ecological Footprints of New Zealand and it's Regions, is found here.
  • NZCEE is collaborating with ESR, Scion, and AgResearch in the Ecological Footprint Plus Research Programme.
  • Various New Zealand Regional and City Councils, eg Auckland Regional Council, Environment Waikato, and Greater Wellington Regional Council.
  • NZCEE is listed as one of the "useful websites" on the Knowledge Auckland website, which is a central repository of data and information to make it easier for policy-makers, researchers, and businesses to find and share useful research, data and analysis about the Auckland region.
  • Te Wananga-o-Raukawa - NZCEE and Te Wananga-o-Raukawa are conducting collaborative research in iwi ecosystems services.

  • University of Versailles St-Quentin en Yvelline - Prof Martin O'Connor
    A Memorandum of Understanding was signed by the Vice Chancellors of the University of Versailles and Massey University in 2006, formalising an ongoing relationship for collaboration and co-operation in ecological economics and sustainability sciences. This facilitates the exchange of staff and students, joint research and teaching activities, participation in seminars and academic meetings, and joint quality assurance benchmarking. NZCEE plays a key role in this collaborative relationship.
  • Gund Institute for Ecological Economics, University of Vermont - Prof Bob Costanza is a Distinguished Visiting Professor at NZCEE, Massey University for 3 months each year.
  • NZCEE is a member of the Global Footprint Network - Advancing the Science of Sustainability.
  • The Land-Ocean Interactions in the Coastal Zone (LOICZ) team has shown support of NZCEE and our research and publications of relevance to their work.
  • The Ecosystem Services Partnership - a network organization that links practitioners, researchers, and stakeholders around the world who are working toward better understanding, modeling, valuation and management of ecosystem services and natural capital.
  • Research Institute for Knowledge Systems (RIKS), in The Netherlands - researchers from RIKS work with NZCEE on our Sustainable Pathways 2 research.
