Past Conferences and Events that NZCEE contributed to:

Vicky Forgie recently represented the Australia New Zealand Society for Ecological Economics (ANZSEE) and NZCEE at the International Society for Ecological Economics 2008 conference, ‘Applying Ecological Economics for Social and Environmental Sustainability', in Kenya on 7–11 August.  In a presentation entitled 'One Hundred Percent Pure', Vicky spoke about ways to quantify the loss of natural capital in New Zealand due to diminishing water quality in lowland waterways. Contact Vicky for more information about this issue, and other research she is involved in.
